you can program each probe with a range, or a temp setpoint.

last cook I used 3 probes. you can custom label the probes and temps. it does have graphs too but if you close the app, it loses the trends. small drawback

I like the Thermoworks Signals I just think it’s overpriced for what it is. Also for that price it should be waterproof. They just came out with a blower for the smoker that connects through the Signals gauge that can control pit temps. It’s a $59 option. Looks good but it’s $290 to get into that setup. Plus it uses your phone for the remote. For that price give me a damn remote also and I’d probably go all in.

Looks like a chinazon special. I found myself wanting a probe setup with WiFi or a phone app last night. The remote just isn’t good enough anymore for me

I've used it about 6 times now and haven't charged it yet since initial time. how long it will hold charges like that is yet to be seen. I paid $30 for it or a touch less and am happy with it.

Til my damn meater gets here anyway :D:bananadead:

I submitted a ticket last week and figure they'd get back to me yesterday or today. They say not to email followup questions or it moves your ticket to the bottom of the queue?! wtf is that?!

haha. yup. the wireless probe approach is awesome in theory. especially for rotisserie.

and for whatever reason, all temp cables are the type that crimp if you look at them wrong!

I'm gonna open a new ticket and reach out again. if they are "In Stock" now... mine should be here...

Soooo tried to get fancy for a BBQ over at a buddies house . I was instructed to bring smoked meats. I was planning a little rib shoot out. with some different seasoning..
No photos of the aftermath because I seared and cut the ribs up while drinking a few sport sodas BSing with the boys.

    Group A
2 hrs on the Treager on "smoke" Pftttt ( what smoke!:annoyed:)
then cooled, cut, packaged in vacuum seal and into the water 195 degrees for 2 hrs

    Then group B

Sous vide. 5 hrs at 167 degrees first. 3 hrs on the charcoal smoker pecan wood
    [IMG]

    Andddd I'm outta pittfaced..

    This is normal right?

The crowd at the bbq was stoked on all of them.

Winner for me was Group B

However, I don't feel that it a fair comparison as the smoker produced way more smoke than the Treager. Looks like I'll have to do another "test".

I even went wheeling in the tacoma before all of this :turtleride:[IMG]
