Yeah its very convenient i got battery voltage, fuel milage, the gear I'm in, RPM, Speedo, and temp. Its not distracting and very nice not having to loot down and your speed is already in plain site.

just drove 6,500 miles for an entire month straight sleeping in the back of our 99 4Runner in BLM land every night for free. We just call it a road trip

OP, I’m digging the DCLB and the nice low COG with those tires. Perfect set up. Nice to see some practicality over looks peeps on here.
Always interested to see how other people live out if their rigs, I see the bedroom up top. What do you have under the bed cover? Kitchen and recovery gear? How’s the back seat laid out? We keep it simple with duffle bags and whatnot, but always cool to get ideas from fellow road warriors.

The back we just take out the seat and throw bags in it same as you, I’m in the process of building a slide out kitchen with sink an stove. I’m also rigging up a 2kw diesel heater (Wabasto style) for heat for the cold spring and fall nights. I got a full 270° awning with walls on order and hopefully and annex soon. I have a 200W solar panel on order as well as a VSR an MTT DC to DC solar charger, I have a deep cycle battery I’m going to install for a dual battery system with an isolator and solar charging. Been so busy with work that I have no time to go out but fortunately working I can afford to buy some more luxuries for the next trip. The longest trip I did this summer was 3500km round trip not as impressive as you 6500miles lol but I was only able to get a week off some made it worth while lol. Awesome to see other guys out there doing this stuff!

Nice build. Curious about the hand grips at 4:00 and 8:00? Should be at 2:00 and 10:00.

It’s the elusive automatic transmission, usually frowned upon in overlanding

Yea it looks like every single other taco.....

Custom bumpers, has a HUD, dash lights are different color...that is a just few things I can see instantly.

Seems like has put a lot of time in to customizing it to me.
