    Made a portable unit using the ARB single compressor. Works nicely.

    I liked my
    $98 Viair 88p Portable Compressor Kit (12V, 120 Psi, Forup to 33" Tires)
    Viair 88p but with 32 inch tires it would take almost 30 minutes to fill all 4 of them up from 15 psi to 35 psi. When I got 33s I had to get rid of it for something better.

    The Viair 300p fills my 33" tires up in half that time. Can't go wrong with Viair though, that 88p was a workhorse. Blew the fuse on it a few times but I used it almost every weekend for 2 years, often on multiple trucks (seems a lot people don't bring air compressors).

    Gave it to another member on here and it's still kicking. But for 35" tires I hope you have a good book or something to do while you wait lol

    I recommend the 300p if you can swing it, it's a nice middle ground between the 88p and 400p.

    I have one...
    My only complaint is the 10minute 50/50 duty cycle. Takes me 30(10 on-10 off-10 on) minutes to fill 4-265/75/16 from 20 psi to 37 psi.
    I hardly ever deflate though.

    I would not get a 120v AC compressor for the truck. Get a 12 volt with alligator clips that go directly to the battery. Lots of people gave good recommendations on Viairs and whatever, so I won't say more on that.

    edit: ooops, sounds like you already arrived at this conclusion. Nevermind.
