That bachelor group I saw a couple weeks ago was back out behind the house and my wife put her name on a couple haha... One if them is gonna be a nice 4 1/2 and there were two 3 1/2 she was happy to look at in the scope. Hopefully they will stick around a few more months

Started a shooting house in building out of scraps and leftover that I should have about $8 in for screws... Go. A be about 4'x8' the front is 10" taller than the back so rain runs off and stuff and the floor should be about an 8" step up from the ground with 6'-6'10" ceilings... left is the front btw so water will roll off the back... Drill died and I'm on a screw run rn

Just got my paperwork back for the archery only watershed area near my place.
I'll be able to go in next month to set up my spots.
    The wheels are in motion.

to be honest i dont know the brand. the Big one is probably 12yrs old.my one man stands ill check. I know my boys like my one man stands they are very sturdy. it may have a sticker on it. I do know its grey instead of green.sorry thats not much help. i got the big one when the kids were learning and we sat together.weve got stands from walmart, dicks, and gander mtn. etc.. I dont buy from Dicks now because of their refusal to sell some guns.same with Yeti. i like my Yeti but wont buy from them again

We have a double man stand like that from academy their game winner or whatever their house brand is... Its kind of a pain to put together the first time because I instructions and stuff but ive killed a few deer out of ours... Comfy enough for napping too haha... That's my 4 year old daughter last year layed across the seat while I sat on the platform

Got this one from Dicks about 5 years ago (no longer go there as well)
No frills ladder I put in the watershed cost me a whopping 59 bucks.
If somebody wants to go through the trouble of stealing it and walking out a half mile with a 59 dollar ladder, have at it.
Two seasons ago, someone took out all the pins holding the sections together. I since replaced them with stainless bolts and nylocks.
I always check the straps when I go up making sure they're not vandalized.
    Joys of quasi-public land. :frusty:

here in murrilin, you cannot "leave" a stand up at the watersheds, climbers only

Same way on most of the federal land I hunt in Illinois. You must take your stand with you each time you hunt.

Looking a the leupold vx3i cds scopes for my new .270 win, what power should I go with? 4.5-14? 3.5-10? Going to be hunting mostly in California and in Utah so the terrain will vary from open ranges to some tree cover

A bigger objective lens will let in more light if you hunt often in low light situations
