looking at the KX Off-road KX01 and KX04 17x9 with a 18 offset. Also thinking about putting the Hercules Terra Trac AT2 tires in 265/70/17. Any thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. 22FEEEE5-F6BC-41FB-B77E-A2F684AE2CFF.jpg8200D98B-DDEA-4CA0-9804-07B1839EAF62.jpg 683C0CC8-AF99-4568-AD2B-3CF619573E3F.jpg

I too like #1 better. Since they are the same color profile I admit it’s kind of a splitting hairs opinion.

s-l1600.jpg The 2nd ones you can get without the machining. I love them both, but like @Cudgel says it’s splitting hairs.

I like the first one also. Usually i say don't listen to others opinions. Everybody sees things different. Do you brother. But this one is 5 to 0 for the first wheel. I don't see the hair getting split. Lol.

I like the KX04 but 34lbs is really heavy...

It didn’t feel heavy, I carried it out to my truck and it felt lighter. But your right 34 pounds of rotating mass is a lot. Wonder what the difference is from the stock Sport wheels.

    No opinion on the wheel.
Just wanted to point out those have a 5-3/4" backspace. Your stock wheels have a 5-1/2" backspace.

Nice looking wheel but as stated above, they are heavy. This reduces performance and fuel economy. Not sure what stock sport wheels weigh, but TRD SEMA Pros are only 24.6 lbs

Agree, offset may be an issue.

No surprise, everyone is ripping off everyone - those are basically Fuel wheels. The second ones in particular are essentially the Mavericks.

I am ignorant to offset and backspacing. What would be the issue? TIA

The more positive offset you have the further in the wheel sits, closer to suspension components. Could interfere with uca’s, tires rubbing etc.

i would not buy until you have these details totally TOTALLY worked out. getting your backspacing/offset right is one of the main things folks are trying to nail in terms of aesthetics. a wheel that flush mounts to the fenders on this truck would be something like 4.5" backspacing and 0 offset.

8" wheel with 0 Offset is about perfect for these trucks. 8" with -10 or -20 will give more poke out of the wheel well and a 'deep dish' look but you will more likely have rubbing issues on the cab mount.

So my rims currently have a 33 offset and the new rims have 18, so if I am correct the wheels would be out further. Plus the Sport rims is 17x7.5 and the new ones would be 17x9. I absolutely don’t want any issues. Thank
