    Originally it was a stock (NA) ECU with UCON (S3 tune) and 7th injector assembly. Now it is TRD flash with HP Tuners and a sprinkle of fairy dust from @JustDSM.

    I’m going to go ahead and say that you need hptuners. No ifs ands or buts. The o2 feedback isn’t going to do anything to your mapping in open loop. It has to be tuned right. I and everyone else here will tell ya; the ability to tweak things to your particular setup is likely the best “mod” you’ll do to this truck.

    Yes you need bigger injectors @ 2.7” or smaller pulley. Most of us bought 650’s. I think I heard hubbub of another group buy on those.

    You want that nasty cam idle. I know.

    Yes, you can advance the intake cams wherever you want. I’ve played with it some. Idle speeds are more about targets and adders.

    Get the cams in and tuned to make the power. You can futz with it to make it idle like a sportster later.

    FIC has made it clear that another group buy is not going to happen.

    There are at least three sets of Seimens Deka 640cc injectors I know of that are not being used. If anyone is interested in them, they might be for sale.

    @ThomasMore66 has a set brand new.
    @Roostfactor has a used set (not sure if they are for sale)
    @loginfailed (ME!) has a used set I’m willing to sell. (PM if interested)

    My comment was a generalized comment. Glad you brought up your mods and IDC. In your case, yours has been proven through various competing datalogs to be at that duty cycle, then adding cams would push the fuel requirements higher. More air in needs more fuel in. Your duty cycle would be in an unsafe zone. Yes. Your engine, as well as any others with your similar mods, with the addition of cams, would need larger injectors.

    Correct, with 2.7 and no fpr mod my ipw was 93%.
    The ecu will not compensate for different size injectors unless we tell it (the ecu) what the new injector size is via tune.
