I love this show however i am not really on anyones side here when it comes to the sea shepards vs. the japs. The sea shepards are like little kids who get bullied in school then try to blame their mistakes on those who bully them. They ran the Ady Gill into the Nishan Maru, then tried to blame the japs for deliberatly destroying it. I'm shocked the japs don't throw anything back at them or even open fire while they are under constant harassment from the sea shepards 24/7 geting shot at with potato guns, butaric acid, and anythingg else and even getting rammed with their ships. In the last episode the japs actually did shoot something at them (although it was unclear as to what) and it was funny to see all the sea shepards freak out like they were the bad guys even tho they were just shooting glass bottles filled with red paint at them a minute prior to that.

I like the show, it's entertaining and fun to watch and i'm deffinately addicted. However i think the sea shepards are a bunch of enviromentalist greenpeace idiots who get what they deserve. I am not saying i'm all for whaling of an endagered species but they harass the japs 24/7 and whine about everything. it's an addicting show

Yeah, I don't get the red paint. Sure I see the symbolize but what exactly did it accomplish? Nothing.......

I enjoy watching the show! Good entertainment! Plus it does get hilarious watching the "epic" fails on trying to stop the whaling fleet.

They keep trying to foul the props of the Japanese ships and fail. I'm not a sailor nor really know much about seamanship but if they did succeed, wouldn't that be extremely dangerous? The Japanese would be left adrift in Antarctica. Maybe the Japs would drift into a iceberg or something before help arrived. Someday the sea shepards are going to kill somebody, or get killed.

They actually have cold weather dive equipment they can use to fix it.

I saw an episode the other night where they put metal pipes on the ropes they use to foul the props. Correct me if I'm wrong but metal sinks, right? Therefore causing the rope to droop in the middle? Maybe that's why they keep "missing" the props.

I think they missed that attempt because the idiot was cutting a 6" thick rope with a 2" pocketknife and couldn't "drop it" in time. They were 250-300 yards past the bow of the japs when the rope finally got cut, it didn't even look close. Had it not taken the guy 5 minutes to cut the line they might have gotten soemwhere. hahaha

Minke Whales are in no way, shape, or form endangered. Its kinda like the hippies are trying to stop people from hunting deer. Its allowed, they have a license to hunt 200 whales per ship. i love how the hippies think what they are doing is soooo awesome but have no idea what to do come game time.

Like the stupid ass school teacher who thought it was a good idea to trim down and go full throttle in the rocks and lost the whole lower unit

yeah i see. that i have a tendency to bump threads when i’m bored. and this years episodes are kinda catchy. and yeah they are psycho! but if they are tagging out so to speak. every year for like the past 8+ yeahs i think all the research they can do has been done. i mean how much research can be done on a whale?!?!? but maybe i’m wrong.
