What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

i'm gonna have to learn how to do this, especially 1st to 2nd from a stoplight situation. what rpm area should it be in to throw it into 2nd?

 

To be honest, I really don't know. I just go by feel and sound. When you push/pull the gear shifter, you can feel where the sweet spot is. Once you find it, it'll go right into gear. No grinding. Nohard resistance.

Completed my first mod. Ran the electrical for the used camper shell we just bought. First anything at all that I have done to the truck really. Even though I’ve had it for 11 years. Was super anxious about it but figured it all out! Both the dome light and the break lights work like I want them too! Feels good man... feels real good.

 

I finally made my dream since I was 12years old come true.

 

First I was like, "cai, so what?"

Good work man! Nothing like getting the ball rolling on realizing how much we really can do as long as we really want to. You're gonna be doing your own maintenence in no time, unless you already are.

 

Mine is on it's way. Started noticing a little pink wetness around rim of upper rad tank and thought wtf? It's already leaking?? I replaced it 3 years ago with a Denso. But it looks like it's just the rad cap.

 

Got these mounted up and balanced today. 285/76r16

Got a good deal on an OEM trailer harness to replace my aftermarket Hopkins one.



Have to figure out where it plugs in. I know the module is usually mounted in the driver’s side cubby.

Also, how many miles are on your stock leaf packs? I may be interested in them if their not clapped out. And if double cab leafs will work on an extended cab. Edit: Disregard, they wont work.
