Transmission clunk is common. My 2016 did it. Fluid level was correct. My 2019 doesn’t do it.

My 2017 TRD Sport has been mostly trouble free other than the battery shitting the bed at 10K miles. Have 23K on it now and decided to trade it in on Cummings powered Ram. Just don't see the old quality levels that were in the earlier models. Don't think my 2017 would hit 200K miles like the earlier ones.

This is absolutely the bitchiest forum I've ever been part of, nothing personal, coincidence or 3rd Gen just kinda living and/or not living up to the thread title, coincidence maybe..
I appreciate all the people who really answer because you can learn a LOT here, don't appreciate having to read the blah blah blah guys; you're taking up thread space, don't click on or comment if all you have to say is deconstructive, please..
And also, sidenote, if you've never dug a ditch, waited tables, sawed a tree down, changed oil on cars you don't even like, framed a house, built a scaffold, hauled anything to a dump, killed or caught your own food, shared a bed with a co-worker on a per diem job, fought or trained for this country, etc., etc., just to make some ends meet, also stop commenting as if you've ever worked for anything.
Slap you tire Trac thingys to the side of your custom bed frame thingy & go ride your dirt bike and stop posting here. Buying your Tacoma cash because you sold the Land Rover your parents bought you for the college graduation they paid for doesn't qualify you to comment on quality, yes the Tacoma is better than your 500 SEL or whatever you had but something does seem to be happening with Toyota QA/QC..
