How many people are planning on camping Saturday night? I'm probably going reserve at least one camp site somewhere just to be sure we don't end up sleeping in the Walmart parking lot.

That's what I'm thinking. I usually disperse camp out west, but not sure what peoples preferences are and with the group size we have what'll be best in WI. I was looking at spearhead point campground, says 4 vehicles per site are allowed and its like $20 with sites right next to each other available.

I think we can make it to Lake Superior if we keep a good pace

That's what I'm aiming for, going to completion. Most places have said to set aside 2.5 days to complete the trail, but based on our starting location and the group we have, I think we gotta be able to get it done in 2 or less.

There's a lot of great spots in that part of the Chequamegon!

The trail goes right past Kathryn lake. That's a nice little lake.

Feel free to ask me about any of the campgrounds in the area you pointed out. I've probably stayed there or at least passed through.

@95tojo I’ve got the pictures of your truck ready for delivery on a floppy disk on the trail this weekend. That’s the only way I’m able to get them to you. :D

I was looking at spearhead point, spots 12 & 13 earlier. Looks like a pretty nice spot and I think that would probably be plenty of room for everyone.

If I'm not mistaken, that's on the Mondeaux Flowage. Beautiful little Flowage! Quiet, usually. We used to do group trips at "Picnic Point" on that flowage. Awesome spot.
