I think Dak was in line for the big payday regardless. The Boys better hope he doesn't get injured. They don't have much to back him up.

As a Lions fan, I too admire his high hopes and enthusiasm for what will most likely be a very disappointing turnout.

I'm betting that Raider's fans aren't watching the calendar quite so closely.

There is a reason why he tried so hard to go see Pattycakes at the end of the AFC Championship. He knows he's passing the torch on to the kid.

They'd still end up with a better record than any of the teams from Texas.

Possibly. I've been wondering if he'd retire if they won another SB, but I doubt it. Brady's still hungry for more, for some reason. Me, I'd have taken my millions of dollars, my NFL records, and retired with my supermodel wife by now, lol.

Ehhh...Doubt that was why. I'm sure he recognizes Mahomes as a talented young QB with a bright future in the NFL, but I don't think Brady's ready to pass anything to anybody, besides more footballs to receivers.

Oh, he definitely knows he's passing the torch. He recognizes greatness on the rise. Tom's getting little up there in age and has not been looking good lately. Last year's Superbowl was definitely his last win, in my opinion.

Remains to be seen, of course. We shall see what happens. Can't wait for our new defense to unveil itself and the offense to shatter last year's offensive records.

I would say it's not necessarily "passing the torch"...but more so acknowledging the talent, competition, and showing respect to a fellow peer. Tom is definitely getting up there in age, but I truly believe that he thinks he has 2-3 years left.

If we get our defense figured out....we will be a force this year... Hard to be any worse than we were last year.

Excited to see the new pieces and how they mesh with Spags system. I like the additions we made during the OS and we have a few younger guys that can take the next step.
