How much are original SR5 rims worth?

I was thinking of ordering 2 of these for spares because they're pretty inexpensive. My daughter's 98 4Runner has these, and I mounted them on my 01 Tacoma.

Those are my favorite rims but they would not work with the Tundra brake upgrade so I had to make a change
I sold mine $100 and it took 3 months before I found a buyer

 

I sold my set of wheels and tires (15” Stock Alloys Pictured, 75% Tread Michelin A/S Tires) for $350. No one would buy them at $450.

The stock wheels are basically worthless, you can’t give them away as I’ve seen.

 

They are my favorite too. So when I saw them for $40 on CL, I was pretty stoked. And being 16" was even better.

 

To all the guys with these rims sitting around. I would love some of the center caps. I think I have one and on a rear wheel. yes I will pay something.

 

My truck came with these and the dealer had them chromed. I regret selling them.

 

i have a ton of chrome on my truck already lol, those would be just too much

 

but you could chrome the tie downs.....

Yeah I had chrome running boards and chrome brush guard and those at one time. Washing my truck was a nightmare. They were the 16's and I always liked them. I sold them to some 2nd gen guy on here.

 

I'm searching for a set. The set I posted about is listed on CL for $250 with nearly bald tires. Too much.

Yeah that would be too much for me as well. Have you tried looking at wrecking yards?

did you paint or do anything to the part that goes from the tip to the muffler?
it is turning a golden color under mine already and it has not seen the winter yet!

 

That color is normal for stainless steel, I do use wd-40 and wipe the whole exhaust down headers to tail. From time to time I polish the exhaust with mother’s aluminum polish, but I don’t do it often.
