    Well wtf this is the most retarded design ever how does the slip yoke work during suspension travel no wonder you were replacing CB like crazy. I stand corrected and will try and find where I read that info.

    I know my folks 99 5 lugger AC has a 1 piece with the slip at the trans like the one above which makes sense. Hell even my old Crew Cab Duall F350 2wd had the slip at the rear section of DS
