    Sounds very awesome.

Love the features too. Android auto seems to work more seamlessly on this than in my 2018 Mitsubishi stock unit.

That looks great. I've held off on an aftermarket HU cause I think most of them look gaudy but I think I'll grab one of these.

I have the Axxess ASWC-1. Mine works fine. You do need to wire it up correctly for it to work obviously. It needs to detect the radio type and what it’s hooked up to as well as needing its own power. It should be as simple as wiring it up, letting it detect the wiring, and then closing things up. Did you go through the instructions? It does need to have that setup done correctly or it won’t work, if you didn’t you might want to check here for how to reset it https://axxessinterfaces.com/product/ASWC-1#product-features

Are you sure that kit is the right one for no cut stereo controls? That might be the issue. IIRC, I installed mine a while ago, I wired mine in without anything except what came with the Axxess and did have to splice into existing wiring.

I actually wired the 70-8114 & then plugged it into the ASWC-1 interface. That's probably the problem. Going to reopen & try again w/ the ASWC-1 wires

been debating on getting this unit. does anyone have one with the factory backup camera installed in a 2nd gen?

my concern is do i have to wait for it to fulllly boot up before the backup camera will come on?
because sometimes i just get in my truck and go and i like now that i can have the backup cam on the second i put it in reverse

Does the Sony swc wire just get spliced into the same wires that the axxess aswc-1 spliced into? I can get my left hand controls to work just fine, no luck with the answer/hang up controls on the right.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, it was only two or three of the wires. It was easy and straightforward.

Sony has a way of only allowing their stuff to work in their products... might not be able to get it going.

So, I've had the Sony three wire swc on the unit for a couple months, have all the buttons mapped out, when my DRLs are on, everything works fine. When the headlights are on, no "next/back" and no "mode" functions. Do I have something wired in with the dimmer causing interference?

Probably. I don’t have DRLs but the SWC harness shouldn’t be connected to the dimmer. I’ve had a few instances where when turning it acted like a button was pressed so I think the clockspring in the steering column might be going bad. Not sure if the wiring for the headlights and such are connected to that (I doubt it), but maybe check into it.
