Crazy week locally ... with young kids doing really bad things ... just 2 of 5 bad things this week (all of the kids were 17)

A Cobb County teenager was charged with three felonies after allegedly raping a 7-year-old girl last week.

Baudilio Salomon Diaz Ambrocio, 17, of Marietta, was arrested Wednesday on charges of rape, aggravated child molestation and aggravated sexual battery, according to his arrest warrant.

Two days earlier, he’s accused of raping the girl at a home near West Atlanta Street, the warrant said. The child’s parents were not home at the time of the alleged sexual assault.

The victim required surgery at a hospital after the rape, the warrant said.

In addition to his charges, Diaz Ambrocio, who was born in Guatemala, has a hold placed on him by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Cobb County jail records show. He remains in jail without bond.

4 .. 17 year old teens here in stolen car & kills a LEO

    https://www.ajc.com/news/crime--law...he-run-after-shootout/ZkQQUy5gy5Mjy3TvkQM7dI/

Dixon, 28, was among several deputies in pursuit of a stolen vehicle, believed to be the work of a teenage robbing crew suspected of other auto thefts. A chase ensued, ending in a wreck not far from the square in Gainesville.

“He was out there in the darkness while most of us slept comfortably,” Couch said of Dixon, the second law enforcement officer shot and killed in the line of duty in Georgia this year. He leaves behind a wife, Stephanie, and two young sons: Caden, 9, and 3-month-old Colton Justice.

Four suspects fled on foot into a residential area off Jesse Jewell Parkway, with the deputies in pursuit.

“The offenders started firing at the deputies,” Couch said. “The deputies fired back.”

One of the suspects, Hector Garcia-Solis, took cover behind a house. He re-emerged from the other end of the residence, and more shots were exchanged. Garcia-Solis, 17, was hit multiple times but is expected to survive. He faces felony murder charges.

By early Monday afternoon, the remaining suspects — Brayan Omar Cruz, London Clements and Eric Edgardo Velazquez, each 17 years old, each charged with felony murder — were in custody, authorities said.

First Hall County deputy to be killed since the 1920's

This stuff is happening a lot more often around here now ... and gas station "slider crimes" are several a day now.

When I was a kid my father took us and my grandfather to Pointe du Hoc and we saw President Reagan give his speech and visited the graves of his mates that are buried at Colleville-sur-Mer. I remember asking why they didn’t bring them home and he told me that that they did everything together since they landed in Algeria and there was no point in separating them anymore. Now they stand the eternal watch to remind all of us of what it costs to stamp out fascism.

I so, SO wanted this to have happened in Florida.
    https://news.yahoo.com/missouri-suspect-hiding-police-loud-022026753.html

A Missouri suspect was hiding from police. A loud fart gave him away

Law enforcement officers in Missouri managed to capture a man wanted for possession of a controlled substance after he gave away his position in an unorthodox way.

He farted. Loudly. Or, at least, with enough volume to get the attention of the police officers looking for him.

"If you’ve got a felony warrant for your arrest, the cops are looking for you and you pass gas so loud it gives up your hiding spot, you’re definitely having a :crapstorm: day," the Clay County Sheriff's Office wrote in , which included the hashtag "#ItHappened."

A local TV station requested more information on the case and the sheriff's office responded on Facebook with, "the person was arrested over the weekend on a Clay County warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. We’ve gotta give props to Liberty (Missouri) PD for using their senses to sniff him out!"

The official Twitter account of the City of Liberty also had some fun with the incident.

"The Liberty Police Department was surprised to see this incident slip out, which stinks for the arrestee," the city wrote in a post on Twitter. "Fortunately, no one was injured during his arrest."

The city also thanked the sheriff's department for "airing out a wanted person's dirty laundry and fanning the flames."
