It can definitely cut into the budget.

My wife is an accountant and oddly, has actually made a few mod suggestions.

Can do! Usually with the right! Crossing over with the left is :sadviolin:.

My knees can steer like a champ though.

Gawd. The gif selection sucks for that.

My cousin with a sweet little MT Rabbit showed me that trick while winding through some passes in Colorado. I was in 6th grade? Man, that stuck with me.

I begged my other cousin to let me take her dad's 626 MT for a spin not long after I got my licence. I was shit at it, but the MT hook was set. It took a decade or so for my 626 dreams to fade. That might have had something to do with the 4th Gen Supra?

The only two GIFs that I could find were lady's legs. At least that one didn't have a skirt.

Heck, I drove one single footed one night when I broke my ankle. THAT was interesting, luckily no big hills on the trip to the ER.

That scene in Misery still freaks me the fuck out. It was years until I could watch Kathy Bates in anything and not get the chills.

    Back on topic here...

Gearlock video 30 seconds into it. With a Lexus paddle shifters/steering wheel retrofit (imagine, plug-and-play install), his right hand simply would not need leave the steering wheel. It would be super convenient, and arguably safer, to have paddle shifters when offroading too...

My wife's Forester is our first car with paddles. I have driven a few others with paddles on the wheel also. When I have to, I only ever drive in manual / GL mode and hate the wheel mounted ones. Even though I never used static mounted paddles, I know that I would like those more, esp when shifting in corners.

Paddle shifters suck when you're turning sharply and trying to shift.
