Hey all, I’m currently on a road trip cross country in the RV and something caught my exhaust at the catalytic converter which caused it to totally rip off. All of the sensors detached with the exception of one which seems like it pulled the wires out of the sensor (not a mechanic so not sure if those can be placed back in). The exhaust tip section bent from either running it over or whatever it was that caused the damage.

Long story short, I’m looking for someone with the capability of accessing underneath the RV to reinstall what I have, fabbing in a new cat (either something universal or specific if it can be located right away) as well as reconnecting the DEF hose and clearing the codes. It’s a 2015 Winnebago View (based off the Mercedes Sprinter 3500 chassis).

I’ll be driving for the next few hours, but will check back when I can. Thank you in advance.

Colorado is a big state. It may help us to help you by knowing which part of CO you expect to be passing through.

Thanks for the suggestion, will call them in the morning. Weird to ask here but I know that there are many members here from CO.
Anywhere really, I’m on 76 now heading towards Denver from the Nebraska border.

Best of luck! Denver area is your best bet for getting fixed ASAP. Hopefully Linden has an opening... they do good work and they know Sprinters well. No stealership BS

Thanks for your help, they’re working on it now but it does have to go back to Mercedes after the repair so they can reprogram the knock sensors (their special way of making sure they still make money). The guys over at Linden really seem like they know what they’re doing and even letting me camp out in the RV while doing the repair. I really appreciate the suggestion of the shop.

You are most welcome! I'm glad it worked out. If you have time to kill downtown Golden has a lot to offer. Also, there is public space trails within walking distance of Linden that you can get up high on the rim above the town (to the East). Cool stuff. Best of luck with the rest.
