    So my skids were installed a month ago and have no scratches on them whatsoever. The truck hasnt left the pavement once. Theyre essentially brand new, quick wipe with a shop towel and they are perfect

    3rd gen and 2nd gen skids bolt up the same. RCI made some tweaks, they show in the last photo on their site for the full kit, to make it more 3rd gen friendly at the same time they reinforced some stuff in the design. I was considering but decided to go a different direction.

    Yeah I wouldn't be negotiating shit except whatever they want for the stock skid swap. Remind them what the cost of shipping 200#s of steel plates would be if they bought them offline.

    Haha exactly, I took like 21% off of the new price, and if local pickup you dont have to pay the astronomical shipping. Its like 4 or so boxes of 200# of steel. The main reason for the 21% is for the oem skids that I need
