    LOL "I'm not interested in delving into Government conspiracy theories as fun as that may sound" :rofl:

    Anyway, it depends on what your looking to achieve to out way the cost.I guess it boils down to, do you want the best for your truck, do you want it to last longer, and potentially less mechanical (engine related) issues.

    Think of it as you ate fast food everyday and now your deciding to do more clean eating. Its not an instant change, but its a longer term benefit. You could use fuel additive at every fill up such as Stabil360 to help fight ethanol, but of course Ethanol free is the best.

    That's kinda what I was thinking! I have always wanted to try and go the Ethanol free route but there just weren't any convenient Stations near me. They just built a QT Gas Station @ 183 &183A which sells Ethanol free. I drive right past it on my way to work so I am going to give it a shot and see how it works. They also sell 93 octane fuel so I may try both and see how they compare in mileage and engine knock/power etc...

    Do they have the Ethanol free 93 Oct.? I have only see 92 EF in select places. Most are like 87 Oct. I think. They also have Ethanol free at the Murphy's on Whitestone, but only in 87 Oct.

    Anyone else looking for Ethanol free fuel, this is a good reference. https://www.pure-gas.org/index.jsp?stateprov=TX

    The EF is 90 Octane. The 93 Octane is regular fuel

    For thoes that didn't already know it I have an announcement;

    @Texoma is The Man!!! :hattip:

    I have been going round and round with Firstone and getting my alignment set correct. Looks like they have given up and are going to refund my lifetime alignment. After they adjusted it Saturday it shook so bad it felt like the front end was going to come apart. Once I got home from camping Saturday I didn't feel safe getting back on the open road. Unfortunly I have to go to Dripping Spring this afternoon.

    Thanks to information that Chris gave me, I was able to make some adjustments myself. It's not perfect and it will be going to another shop in a day or two but it's close enough that I feel safe driving it at highway seed.

    Thank You Chris!!!!!

    A little something every chance we get.
    Afternoon TTC! Survived the mowing, and starting earlier helped, I almost finished before it hit 90*, but the wife suggested we mow our neighbors front since they are out of town. Fixed a fence board on the ugly neighbor side, recycled, and cut my little fake tile board for a table top. Still painting that.

    We have some good neighbors - these are among them and look after our place when we are travelling.

    thanks, but this one is paid for, has solar and a pool. OOOH! Electric bill was roughly $35 last month! Wife is HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY, because that one is hers to pay. We haven't paid over $40 since it went in! And last June or July would have been between $300 - 400!

    Move out here and get rid of the renters!

    Dagum that sounds like a good gig. Been thinking of doing solar forever now might need to chat with ya a little more about it. We have some panels that're more than enough to power the shed but with the strict HOA we haven't dived into it yet

    Not having an HOA in this old neighborhood had +++ and ----. But, we can do what we want, and it looks like a kept up 70's subdivision home, with solar on the roof. Once I got "pretired", we discussed moving all over, even going the ex-pat route. We decided to just kept this a paid off home base, and vacation if we want to.
