Sure, I would have bought a 6MT after 15 years of driving a 2001 Tacoma 5MT, but unfortunately, it wasn't available with the DCLB...

That is honestly tragic. I do not understand why they don't have a run of MT DCLBs a couple times per year.

 

@OVTune i purchased an extra licence yesterday morning (July 9th) as i am going to be using my brother's OBD2 plug for the install. Last email that was sent to me was to follow the directions to register. Problem is that i never receive instructions and all they needed from me is the ECU id and my trucks VIN number. I had already responded with all the details that were requested but haven't heard back since. Do you know how long it will take? Im ready for the install.

 

At the current moment we are on about a 48-72 timeframe for catching up all tickets due to the amount of holiday orders we are trying to process.
For anyone wondering we should have them all out by friday.

 

I bought mine on July 1st and emailed you guys 2x about my order (to upgrade to catted dumppipes) but have not gotten a single response yet as of today

 

I have seen the tickets for dump tubes and am working through everything as quickly as can be done.

So everyone understands what's going on at the moment >
1. Preparing to ship many holiday orders
2. fixing issue with newest windows update and 00002 flash software error
3. changing / upgrading orders for dump tubes
4. Forced induction stuff
5. 2.0 beta testing (going on right now)

We are going as quickly as possible.

From what I've found with gear lock is, it's not good for spirited full throttle driving, as I think paddle shifters were designed for. If you're in the upper rpm range it will not shift until you let off the throttle then it bucks into gear. It's great for long highway drives and through mountain passes though. So for me the paddle shifters seem like a ridiculous mod to consider. IMO...

 

If you’re looking for mpg, unless you can get 91 octane, 91 Base won’t be beneficial to you. I can’t get 91 in Alabama, so to buy 93 to run 91 tune, doesn’t add up. 87 Base on 89 octane is right at $.08/mile
