Hey y’all, any recommendations for a trusted auto body shop in Austin? Asking for a friend who just got hit a few days ago downtown.

Sure thing, come to think about it they actually fixed my wifes damages done by a Jag that rear ended her last year too. Looks like it never happened.

When my grandpa worked for NASA (so most his life) he’d fix up Jags and sell em. His formula was three Jags plus any motor out of a Mustang was enough for one rebuild because their quality was always such shit and you could find wrecked mustang for days. He used all the extra money for tools and to buy my mom/aunt clapped Toyota trucks (I’ll try and find pics after work... clapped is putting it nicely) despite being a lead engineer at NASA during the space race.

Why? Idunno. I remember when I was car shopping he told me never to buy a Jag and I probably wouldn’t to this day. As if I could afford one anyway

Idk if cool is the right word, lol. Crazy? Weird? If the timing is ever right that he’s in town the same weekend as C&C I’ll bring him along for sure. Definitely the family member I take after the most

Man is 65, has a prosthetic heart from the 80s, and is still more active than probably my entire family combined lol. Skiing and windsurfing are his new things

Wow, that's truly inspirational. I think we all have a couple screws loose some of us are just better at tightening them up periodically :D
