I misread your question, the 886s were with OME shocks before I went with the ADS setup

Yeah i have The 886 now and too stiff. I had 885 and it was nice but dropped when i added Bumper and winch. 620 would prob be perfect but i Really want to jump up to a nicer ride and something rebuildable.

I know it was brought up earlier in the thread, but I dont think it was ever answered. Does anyone have the compressed and extended lengths of the extended travel rears that headstrong offers?

Not full extended length, but I know when they are fully extended there is 10.25” of shaft showing

That's good info, but I'm looking for the extended and compressed lengths still...

What size punch to adjust coilovers, 5/16?

Do you guys recommend a punch or spanner to make the adjustment? I need a good solid tool

Thought I’d share some recent discovery after finally understanding the tuning of these shocks on my truck.

Cranked the front up to 12/20.
    20 being full firm

    And the rear at 5/20

I can not believe how much smoother and capable this truck feels going on a chunked up bumpy road at 45mph. Very please I decided to crank them up

    Specs:
    Front has lo-pro bumper/winch (135lbs)
Rear has gear box and Softtopper with bed Mat (100lbs er so)
Also have bolt on BAMF sliders (130lbs)

I’m assuming you’re talking about the adjusters?

I went the “crank it with a punch” method today and raised it a bit. Let me tell you, lubing the threads makes all the difference in the world...

I started with 1/2” of threads on the driver and 1/4” on the passenger

Ended with 1 1/4” on the driver and 1 1/8” on the passenger.

It took it up 1 1/8” from previous measurements. Granted, springs may have settled since initial install. I’m not going to measure the damn thing every day...

    “Stock” with armor:
    - DF: 19 7/8”
    - PF: 20 1/4”

    After install:
    - DF: 21 1/8”
    - PF: 21 1/8”

    After adjustment:
    - DF: 22 1/4”
    - PF: 22 1/4”

Before and after pictures and current CV angles:

    Nice!

    +1.125” of lift

    Curious how the ride is?

    CVs look good

Rides just like it did before, no difference at all.

Everything is still breaking in, I have maybe 3-400 miles on it
