that's what I would guess, but just wondering how it compares to say, only drywall and insulation batting.

Better, I don't know of any comparison data, but no doubt there's some out there.

I'm just gonna go by there a few times a week and pick up the trash. Maybe I will say hello at some point. Obviously I am keeping an eye on things but you are right, I'm not trying to make them have any ill will.

I've used this on shared walls and it does wonders for ambient noise like talking and TV/Music. Did my entire bedroom in it too because I'm a light sleeper. That being said, most of the noise I hear being on a raised foundation is heavy footsteps, but that's harder to deal with that anything else.

I won't have much say in how they'll be doing that stuff, my guess is they will not be putting any insulation up between each unit since they are technically "interior walls".. so I'm just hoping the two thick layers of HEAVY fireboard will help..

You can see the fire board here, two layers.

I am reading the in the blueprints to "provide unfaced sound batts at other floor trusses" in addition to "provide unfaced batt insulation in floor to achieve minimum r-19 per code at floor structure above garage"

wow, can't believe it's been less than a month and they have already framed all three floors and are putting OSB on the roof as of yesterday. These fuckers work quick..

A relative found human feces in the corner of his cement basement floor while his home was being built, which still has the stain today. And, when pulling up the vent covers, found dried drywall mud that was not properly disposed of.

Good thing you are keeping a watchful eye!

Finally decided to walk up the sketch 2x4 ladder to the third floor. Filled up another 13 gallon trash bag. TONS of OSB roofing in master bedroom. Had to move a lot out of the way to see if anything was underneath (often times there was).

Freshly eaten watermelon and a spilled red drank, or coffee or whatever. Yummy. I'm sure that's great for OSB.

I put some HVAC changes in my change order.. wondering if it will be easy enough to make more square cavities in an already built floor truss?

I just noticed.. what the hell is going on with that angled 2x4??

Floor right here has two different types of OSB. Not sure what the reddish color type is. It seems like it's not level. Not sure if it'll be straightened out later?

No doubt that they have with all of the rain! Is that fixable or would it require new OSB?

Will it be difficult to make more square cutouts for addtl return ducting?

    So this part is normal?
Looks kinda out of place. no idea though.

Somebody has nailed that 2x4 to the chords of the truss joists to keep them on their centres during framing , pretty normal stuff
