Want to do this soon. Seems like a big difference. Did you put the damper inside the void? Or just panel, or both? Any pics of install? Which noico did you use? Thanks @5nahalf

Nice project! Planning on finding an old 4Runner myself someday; maybe in the next year or so.

I didnt get any pictures, I realized I needed to take some after I was putting the door panel back on :(

I put a layer on the outer skin, then I put some around the speaker mounts and most of the metal the door panel attaches to. Then I cut 2 inch wide strips and placed them on the door cards any place that there were 2 panels plastic welded together. I was getting rattles in the door cards before, now I have no sound but my speakers. I have not driven the truck yet, so I havent listened for a difference. I did sit in the truck, turned off the sub and played my speakers, sounds about the same, maybe a little more bass, but the biggest thing I noticed was there were no rattles or vibrations.

I used the 80 mil silver stuff. One 18 sq foot box did both front doors and still have enough to do the rear doors.

No problem, I will try to get some pictures when I do the rear. Though the rear I plan to just do the outer skin, around the speaker and strips on the door card. There is not as much bass coming from the rear speakers to need going all out, just enough to keep the road noise from getting into the cabin.

Thank you! Took me awhile to find this one, but well worth it. Slowly but surely it will be perfected. Haha

Hahaha. Interior needs some minor work and the body has its minor fixes, just really doing replacements and refreshes. About start putting together an album on here. I actually like Tacomaworld’s format better most of the 4Runner forums. Haha

One side of the bed is closer to the cab than the other. There's a gap between the bed and the rubber molding on one side. How do I loosen the bed to align it? Any videos?

unbolt the 6 bolts in the bed and adjust accordingly. I think they're T30 bolts, maybe larger.

easiest to do with 2 people, but the bed has some wiggle room.

No prob. Get a tape measure or laaaazer or something to help you confirm it's square. I had to square mine up a bit when I installed my RTT stuff.

And also after some moderately intense washboard hooning.

I tried installing the Philips H9 bulbs today with bad results, they did not fit.
This is what bought the other day

    This was the problem:

OEM bulb on left, Philips bulb on right

Is there an H9 bulb that will fit my low beam lights?
