    Magnuson gave up already, shelved it. URD claims it's being driven every day. Don't know what the range of tunability is but turning off the shitty Atkinson cycle is gonna be the first key and then dialing in the 2 stage injection and getting a stable release tune is going to be the hard part if they have the hardware already.

    Guess we can wait and see as the atkinson motor from what I have read doesn’t fit well to be supercharged

    It's a fake Atkinson cycle simulated by the VVT system. It can be turned off in theory, but whether that option is available in the now cracked (OV Tune) stock computer or not remains to be seen. Without the Atkinson cycle simulation disabled you'd just blow your boost in one side and out the other (not actually but that's the net effect). And then you'd see a massive boost surge when the ECU went to the Otto cycle operation. As long as that behavior can be controlled it'll be like boosting any other direct injection high compression engine. And with the port injection as a backup fueling shouldn't be an issue either.

    So if it’s developed it’s probably going to be in the 5-7500 range I bet?

    I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit if you're spot on. That tune they're developing right now is the key to sales success. Bolting a spinny blowy thing to the engine wasn't the hard part here. But making it run well and most importantly, reliably. That's gonna be a hard task, have to make it worth the money, so some boundaries will be pushed but also have to keep it safe enough to work in all conditions, be it heat, altitude, load range, towing, extreme cold.
