Sad to see it go but bigger better things down the road.

Side note, how much do you want for your wheels and tire combo.

    DO IT!!!

Hey all, I've been lurking for a bit and decided to finally join in.
Got this '05 at Auction back in Feb. for both my first Taco and first vehicle.
It's got a running shopping list I'm running though, but I love it to pieces!

Thanks guys! Right now, it's a lot of fixing it to get it back to base-
Needs new windshield, headlights, and I'm saving to have the suspension fixed before I start really going in a direction with it.
I put new tires, basic maintenance and filters, and replaced/fixed miscellaneous parts after I got it. Other than that, it's really not in bad shape for 221k miles.

Installing new rear springs today, as well as pulling my steering rack in prep to install a new one tomorrow when it arrives.

If anyone wants to come drink my beer and supervise, PM/reply or text/call if you already have my number.

I could fit 1 extra rig in terms of work space if someone has some half way simple work/mods they want to knock out either day

    I have mods
Looking for 1 to 3 strapping men to come over to my place for about 15-20 minutes and give me a hand reinstalling the bed on my taco. Just wrapped up doing a rear shock relocation and replacing the rear axle seals, wheel bearings and fresh brake shoes. All that's left is to put the bed back on the truck. It's heavy so the more the merrier but @Ace115 and I were able to remove it ourselves. He's still on vacation with his lady tho.

I'm in NW Tucson near Thornydale and Cortaro Farms Rd. Hoping to maybe get this done this afternoon if anyone is free and willing to lend a hand. Give me a call or text if so - 619-9fourfour-9onefour3

I'd be down to help but currently tearing the front end of my taco apart for some major frame repairs.... good luck!

Definitely not fun, it's the infamous '05/'06 motor mount failure that toyota fixed for '07 but fails to recognize as a problem.

Alex - Did you relocate your shop space to over here on the west side? I was thinking near the Ruthroff / I-10 exit. The machine shop where I work is over here off of W.Grant - drop me a note if there is something you need.

Hello fellow Tucsonians! My wife and I just bought a 2016 SR5. She's on her way home from Miami with it now. I can't wait to drive it when I get home in a few months. She's already given me a list of mods she wants - grill (already ordered), predator style step bars, black 17 or 18 inch wheels, and blue interior lights (lol).

I'll also be, at a minimum, replacing the stock speakers and likely adding a sub as well. I'm also planning to install Meso's LED taillight kit and a few other goodies. I've been modding cars since I was old enough to drive, and it's been awhile since I've owned one worth putting some money into.

I look forward to meeting you guys and gals some and having a mod day at someone's place.

No, we got this mostly for the utility of having a truck. It will be our Home Depot Hero.

Yeah, I know. I've played the game of dropping thousands of dollars into modding a vehicle only to just drive it back and forth to work and go to an occasional car show. I'm past that now (I hope). The intent is to use the truck for home upgrades. Wife wants a custom pergola (for starters), and I like to build home theater speakers and subwoofers, so now I have the ability to haul copious amounts of lumber without tearing up the inside of a car or SUV.
