MB352 - tires are still very smooth, great off road, and still look new

Clocked over 1550 miles on them and cannot complain. finally have driven in several major downpours and they handled great.

Just went with ultra terrains on my 18 ORDCLB in 265/75 16, no rub, just a bit of altitude adjustment. discount tire had a 10% rebate and traded all 5 of my old ones (12000 miles on them) for a matching spare. Start my work week tomorrow so will see going with 32s’ impacts mileage, so far the ride feels a bit softer and they are quiet. Was leaning towards nitto ridge grapplers but they are not three peak rated like these, and when you go to work before the snow plows get out sometimes a little extra helps. Measured the fender height 30” on the front 31.5 rear, both sides approximately.

Working with DT to order these. Going with 265/75/r16 in SL on my stock DCLB. I’ll post some pics when they are on. Will be my year round tire in Vermont. Went with these over Falkens because supposedly better in snow. I’m getting a 5th to outfit the spare, too.

Thanks for all the good info in this thread.

I also have issues with vibration after a little over 10,000 miles with these tires ( I'll check the exact miles tomorrow). After tire rotation and balance at DT not fixing the issue I went to get an alignment test done at shop they recommended. That shop was told me the wheels are moving up and down, and suggested all 4 tires be replaced. So I had bought insurance on the tires and that covered most of the KO2s I will be replacing these with, just paying the difference. It's too bad because I liked these tires for the first 10,000 miles and they do great offroad and on.

I just got a set today also. So far it's been quiet since they are new. Wonder if they remain quiet later on? How do they perform when taken off road on light trails?

Did you have any rubbing issues on the upper control arms?

no problems with UCA clearance...minor trimming/heat molding liners in front for DD purposes, just waiting on CMC and additional trimming.UCA w_Ultraterrain 5-27.jpg

With us expecting our first child in December has sidelined pretty much all further regearing/suspension/armor pursuits currently.

Interesting. Mine was more closer to the UCA then yours is. I don't have a picture because I had to change back to 265s, but I'm thinking maybe the wheels has something to do with it. Off road warehouse suggested putting a wheel spacers but then the tire would of still rub on the plastic body:(

I am running SCS 17x8.5 with 4.3 bs and -10mm offset, so definitely plays into uca/tire proximity

So far happy with the Ultra terrains, about 200 miles on them. Looking for thoughts on tire pressure though, discount tire set mine at 32PSI. Last time I left the dealership they had the factory tires at 35PSI?

    Thanks,

You can do a "chalk test" where you draw a line on the tread of the tire, drive around a wee bit and look at the pattern left on the chalk. More chalk left in the middle means tire pressure is too low, more chalk left on the outside means too high. And evenly wore across the whole tread means just right.

I will give that a shot, cold they are 31-32. Almost 100 today and they warmed up to 35-36 after 20 minutes on the interstate.
