Can’t speak for the guy you quoted, but Eddy does his powder coating with a slight textured finish. It’s really really nice.

Up close shot of my SOS rear bumper with the textured PC:

I really like how that looks. I just ordered one of his bumpers and I went with PC instead of the Line X.

I haven't had any problem with flopping/vibration. There are gaps at the corners but not really noticeable unless you are looking for them--and someone who's got more of an eye for such things could do better than I did--cut it a bit wide and then do a try/fit until it's all but seamless I'd think. Sorry I didn't get back quicker--seems I spend my life working!

Will the hoop interfere with a light bar mounted behind the plastic grille? I have no plans for a winch, but mildly rearended someone and my black plastic is messed up, so I want to upgrade.....but I want to keep my led light bar.

Where exactly is your current light bar mounted? If it’s below the grill in the small cutout a hoop will be in the way. You can always order without the hoop too!

Here you can see the hoops placement.

So I am about to pull the trigger on the Slimline but was hoping I might pick some brains first. I am getting it for the winching ability but I am also very fond of the 30 in light bar that can go just above the bumper and below the grill. I am worried that the winch will interfere with the placement of the light bar. Has anyone ran into this or does anyone know of a low profile winch that would work in this case?

If you get the hoop it will block the lightbar...I will go check under the hood of my truck later and let you know, but I believe there is plenty of space for a bar there.

SO everything is in or ordered! Bumper has been ordered, picked up a Smittybilt X2O 10000lb winch yesterday, got a new X2Power batter in it from Batteries Plus (I've heard good things about them, fingers crossed), and Caliraisedled will be shipping the 32" lower bumper light bar combo shortly. I have some concerns about fitment of the light with the winch but again fingers crossed. Ill try and add some pictures throughout the process. In the meantime if anyone can point me towards so good info on winch tensioning...

It should all fit! We used different CaliRaised brackets and moved the light bar up. I had CaliRaised OffRoad install the exact setup with no problems. Good luck!

Mine has been great and these things are stout. My wife got hit and it bent the front right shackle tab a little and scratched some paint but no structural damage and the other guys rear bumper was clean ripped off. She now wants one for her $runner lol.
