Yea they better make sure the pumps are on point, up and running well. When I lived there for a brief amount of time I remember a 1" per hour rainfall would overwhelm the systems. I dunno if they have improved on that or if that was even true. Just something a coworker told me.

I know I deciphered that from what Jeff said and saw the videos from hawks pride I was able to tell. But a TL taking a line and a SWB truck taking a line are 2 different things.

Different situations give each style truck advantages and disadvantages. I’ve watched Brian have a better line than I was ever capable of because both his front and rear weren’t trying to climb at the same time like mine were and same goes for him...sometimes my line is easier.

The TL definitely requires some extra thoughts when moving through the trails. If the spotter isn't aware, I love how they try to turn me in way to early on things. They start frantically pointing and jestering. Especially when I'm already decided to 3 point something and they just can't seem to fathem the idea.

I also still try to stay open/open as long as possible. Always better to have an extra traction device in reserve, but I am starting to get the lockers broke in. It almost feels like cheating.

'cheating is switching from AT to MT, and with lockers. As long you don't bottom out or bumper can clear the approach you're unstoppable.

Forecast at 3pm this afternoon. I'd assume it will be named "Barry" about that time with winds pushing 45mph. Or possibly before...

Truth. There are times I actually get out and have to look for myself to see what I should do.

    Yeah, good reminder for everyone.

You are personally responsible for your own vehicle. A spotter is only trying to help you get through a spot. Your trust in the spotter is on your own goodwill, but you are still responsible for where you put your truck.

I saw where GS and OBA closed the beaches. Does that include Dauphin Island?

Very true, I think a lot of times there is too much spotting.
