No, I haven’t used my scan gauge in years, but started resetting it on this trip and was getting between 12 and 15 mpgs. Distance was somewhere around 400 miles to a tank, but I wasn’t too scientific about that either.

I’ve been working on a blue sea 6 circuit fuse box sub panel mounted in the bed. I ran 8 gauge wire from the battery, hit a blue sea 40 amp circuit breaker, then all the way back to the bed where one of the useless cubbies used to be.

    So far I have
-1 circuit for the fridge with the arb screw type plug.
-1 circuit for area lighting ( 3 Baja designs dome light with switch in amber, 1 mounted on each panel of the gfc)
-1 circuit for a Baja designs s2 sport mounted on a telescopic mount on my rear bumper

-Planning on a circuit for “upstairs” lighting in the gfc, maybe power too. Phone chargers or a fan could be nice.

-Probably going to add a blue sea USB port in the bed eventually.

I also added some quick fist mounts from built right fab. They hold the quick fist so much better than the single hole that comes with the quick fist.

    Who is this guy? :brianr:

I’m guessing Chux was talking shit about camp lights or something? :p

Same mount I’ve had forever but I finally got sick of replacing Amazon cheapies and got some real lights.

Him and @Wheelspinner were ripping on my camp light setup, one that has now been copied by others to boot. They said first gens must be afraid of the dark.

I never made fun of you. I just simply go camping to escape the city lights, not bring them with me

If you leave the lights on all night you’re a dick, but a way to cook without or setup a tent without a head lamp, and keep up high enough to not blind you is a game changer. But to each their own :poking:

It was two against one, I was cooking and Pat wanted it on still too. A camp poll was taken and you lost. :p
