    vins (not vin numbers) are located in several places on each vehicle. the number of locations and locations themselves can vary. none of the locations are “secret”. the easiest places are dash near driver’s side window, doorjamb, doorpost, underside of the hood, on engine black (not the same as serial number”, front of the car frame, rear wheel well, under the spare tire.
