A impartial witness that backs your story is big. Otherwise its your story vs their story.

Glad you are OK, Looks totaled to me. Get your added stuff off the truck ASAP. get your check and when you start on your new truck get you a dash cam. We have those lights here in town that have the arrows for you to use your own judgement all I see is that those light cause stuff like this to happen.

Wow big hit, glad you are OK, nice to know folks can walk away from something like this when driving a Tacoma.

For now forget about your truck and please take the advice above of getting to a doctor asap. Multiple reasons for doing this even if you are not hurting or have minimal pain.

I'm glad you're doing alright OP. The armor looks good and hopefully insurance will be able to get you that PRO.

Always sorry to hear someone’s rig is in a accident, glad you are OK. Someone mentioned about getting seen by doctor. Not a bad idea in case down the road things get ugly. I watch Judge Judy and she ask this.

Yeah, do an inventory on your aftermarket parts. I don't know how much your insurance will cover. You might need to pursue independent legal action and not rely on what they're offering you...

*Not encouraging lawyering up and lawsuits*, but if my aftermarket gear was damaged and insurance companies weren't coming through, I'd probably sue the other guy for damages.

Key words. He passed along the witnesses info to the police and insurance. Meaning the witness didn't stick around. Doubt the cops call him. Insurance isn't going to take his testimony. Hope you have gap insurance. The insurance isn't going to pay you what you owe. They are going to pay you replacement cost. You might be about to learn how insurance works in a bad way.

Managing the various insurances for a mid-sized corporation is what I do for a living and my mother in law is an adjuster so....

Both police and insurance took statements from the witness too. Not my first rodeo. I’ve just never been the person involved in the accident.

Great, sounds like you know the tricks of the trade. Hope you have a new Pro in your driveway soon. I would choose a Pro in Super White. The color pops against the black wheels and front grill.
