Minor obstacles for pioneers like us! Care must be taken, I did add a corrosion inhibitor. Won't freeze here for at least another two months, lol. And even though I run huge boost, the intercooler fluid's not going to boil.

Yeah I'm at about 90/10, still added some additional corrosion inhibitor just in case.

Was thinking the same. Also was wondering if I needed a capacitor.

I would had done the same, but I'm just lazy and don't feel like monkeying with coolant, so I just service it and go. It's just easier for me and I don't have cooling issues here in my part of California, so I figure why mess with it if it ain't broken you know?

Redline does market its water wetter as having corrosion inhibitors. Should we trust Redline? Sure, why the heck not.

You shouldn't need a cap until after about 1200 watts I believe.

If you have an alternator over 130 amps it will cover you up until around that amount RMS. My sub is 900 so I'm not too worried about excessive draw which the system cannot keep up with.

I have heard of some people having issues with water wetter, though I have not largely explored that avenue much because of the reason I stated above. Lol.

    My shit is all stock.
With the blessings of the guys that have already ordered their cams; I’m trying to get this deal to carry through July.

So, order before the end of this month and you get the deal.

Thought we all talked about coolant not too long ago? Higher water mix is better for heat transfer but if you live where it’s cold cold then it can freeze over

Alternator is exactly 130 amp. Combined my 2 amps will be 1150 watts. Sounds close but it should work.

But then I’ll have quad retrofits soon drawing even more power.

But then I don’t usually blast music at night anyway.

Here in Canada if you keep the truck running, it just turns into a slurpee machine. No problem.

Yeah I'm drawing my line at cams honestly. For sake of engine teardown downtime and my own personal finances right now. I would do it in a heartbeat if it was my spare vehicle, but I need my truck and I could use that money for TONS of other stuff that I don't need.

You should be okay. I'll be close to about 1080 combined, I'll have to monitor my electronics and make sure the lights don't dim. If they do I'll have to do the Alt-S mod for sure for sure and then from there recheck for dimming. If so, then I'll have no choice but to wire in a cap.

I plan on using water and amsoil’s version of water wetter in my supercharger loop soon. Then when I drain all my coolant I will switch to a 70%water/30% coolant + amsoil’s WW for the engine. It never gets that cold out here so I should be fine in terms of the coolant freezing.

As @12TRDTacoma mentioned, this is popular in some high-boost applications. I know some of my Shelby brethren in southern latitudes do it.
+1. Like @Athlaos, I have to worry about freezing half the year, and I'm not interested in doing coolant flushes twice-a-year.
    LOL!
That's a solid plan in your location.
