Has anyone built a PVC solar shower for camping?

Yes, many people. Try using the search function at the top right of this page..

Edit: not trying to be a dick. But there are a lot of examples around here, or even on the internet in general. Gravity feed, pressurized air over water, pump fed etc..

Waterport makes a tank. One member is or was making nozzle and pump kits.

I thought about building one but then i found this thing and for $25 its not worth my time to mess with it. This thing works great. I throw it up on my roof rack and after a couple of hours its hot and it works really well. I just leave it on the roof rack and shower off and dump it out when I'm done. Takes up zero space when empty, too.

I've built one before But Tbh I think i prefer Weisharrkc solar shower LOL, Thats more compact and doesn't hog up my roof rack. The PVC solar shower is pretty heavy. Don't want to be top heavy either. So I'll probably hop over soon.

I agree. I built one and used it once. For the size it doesn’t hold much water. There are cheaper, easier, more compact solutions.

Not trying to be a dick, but I just did a search for threads with "solar shower" in the title, and this is literally the only thread shown in the search results.

Google search is better IMO. Just add “tacoma or “tacoma world” to the search if u want to see posts on TW.

Then try other key words. Key word being "try", searches don't always turn up gold on the first attempt. Half the fun of this forum is following searches to see what else turns up.
