I had mine done at a shop. From what i seen online, doesn't look that difficult but you need an extraction tool.

How much did you end up paying them if you remember? Have a local shop here that is fair in their prices that I would consider.

Pulling the cv shaft is pretty easy
    Pull off the wheel
    Take off the axle nut
Remove the 2 lower ball joint bolts
Tap the axle shaft loose from the hub, pull the spindle out of the way and pry the cv shaft out of the dif

Prying it out is probably the trickiest part because of the c-clip inside. Just gotta keep trying different angles. It shouldnt take much pressure if you get the right angle.

Replaced 3-4 cv shaft due to torn boots like that. About an hour long job including looking up torque specs mid job

Ive never done the bushing so i have no info on that but sounds pretty easy from what ive heard.

Edit: a bit of dif oil will leak out when you pull the cv shaft out.

I'll have to check my invoice, can't recall. It was a total for other things as well so I don't remember what it was individually.

I did mine in the driveway, pretty much what @tgelata said. Might need a second pair of hands to pull the rotor assembly away from the cv, after that just a big screwdriver will separate it from the dif. I have the tool (please somebody take it off my hands) for pulling the bearing. You can replace the seal for cheap at toyota. Then tap them back in with a socket. The pvc is perfect size for pushing the rubber seal back in20190711_073629.jpg

It's also the IS350 engine. If you can't make it sound truck-y, at least you can make it sound like a sports car. Mine sounds better with the intake than the 1GR before it :notsure:
