Hmmm, famous last words. However, I’ve never tried Windex.

You guys make it too easy. Friday is just around the corner.

I considered using a thin film of grease but decided against it. I wanted that sleeve in there nice and toight.

I did put one in the freezer but that didn’t help any.

The windex provides a fluid lubrication then evaporates quickly.

Reached out whiteline to see if I could purchase just the two bushings as opposed to the whole kit. They responded saying they’ll just mail me the two bushings for free! Fucking kick ass. Can’t recommend them enough.

I used car wash detergent to get the roof light wire in the gap between the A pillar and windshield. It's slippery AF but then washes away without any damage to the paint. I tried the windex but yea, it dried too quickly. Of course I was moving slower so as to not crack the windshield. It was a super tight fit.

Yeah no kidding. So just need to get the fucked up bushings out and I’ll drop everything off at a shop around the corner. Let them deal with it.

Are they in and look good line not horribly distorted or anything? If so I'd just leave them and keep the new ones as spares in case one tears or something
