That's a personal take? I only want the front window.

Ya personal opinion, its pitch black in the back, we debated the front window so we could look in there only to realize you cant see anything anyway. Would probably need to run lights inside to see in.

We opted for no windows, no regrets.

That sounds right up my alley.

    I would definitely do lights.

What would just about kick me over the edge is if they make the front window operable. Being that this is my first truck, the slider has become my favor window. I don't even miss the sunroof.

I like the front window without the back one. It gives a little more light and allows you to see out of the front when you're inside and parked. Also it's secure. I get along fine without a back window. My truck has very good side view mirrors.

I haven’t seen one sell used for much less than they cost new yet and people are offering to buy out spots in line. I’d personally pay around 6500 for a slightly used one instead of waiting 18 months but my wait is almost over.

I'd be interested in knowing more about this too. My kids are probably licking the walls of this thing

    That’s at least more reasonable.

I hardly ever open my slider. Maybe cause I have a double cab and can't reach it from the front. I wish that slider window could be opened with a button. The only time I open it is when I have something too long to put in the bed but I guess the rack on the gfc will fix that need.

I am thankful that I can reach my slider by hand. The powered one in the 3rd Gen DCs seems nice.

For me, it lets in the perfect amount of air from the low winter temps around here to about 75 - 80 at lower speeds.

I do wish the AC rear door windows either rolled down or flexed open.

I just got notified of my color samples being shipped. The guys with their campers already, do you think the extra side door is worth it? Having a tough time justifying $350. I don’t want to be kicking myself later though.

Here is a link to some comments and photos regarding side door. I have seen other comments that folks got it so they can use a ladder to get out the side vs the bed.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/hondo-garages-new-thing.516490/page-460#post-20670914

I got it for the views and photography. I await pickup in August I hope.

I don’t remember exactly but around 7200-7500. He was asking for the what they cost new now plus one window and his costs to pick it up. He would’ve made a little money on it since he paid the cheaper price.

I thought I looked at that post this morning. Its deleted now. I believe they were asking $7500 stating it was to cover all their cost including travel to pick it up.

Please correct me if I'm wrong on the price.

Thank you. Decisions decisions. Does anyone setup a ladder to the back screen/door that is already standard on theirs?

No you're right on the price. That posting was up this morning. Maybe it' sold, or maybe he changed his mind again.

I don't think I've seen or heard of anyone doing that before but I guess you could.
I decided to go with the side window. I figure there's no regret in having it but there might be in not having it.

Movement on the leaderboard, now I'm 10 away from production. It seems I'm on schedule pretty well!

Just got my sample package. Anybody else from Canada? Wondering what the duty cost at the border.
