I have a @C4 Fabrication low pro front bumper with a X bull winch installed. I'm looking for ideas on where to mount the winch controller. Would like to keep it low and out of the way of the radiator and air flow. Let me know what you have done of what works best!!

I have mine mounted up behind the grille towards the passenger headlight. I used a bent piece of aluminum and mounted it to the radiator support. Do you have anymore pics of the c4 bumper on your Tacoma? It's been difficult to find the 05-11 in many photos and I've been looking into that bumper.

Recommend to keep it as high out of the splash zone as possible. Also even with a wireless remote its still accessible if I have to go to the wired remote. I used 2 aluminum square tubes to create a mount.

I was thinking of doing this same thing. Does it block much air flow? Any issues with engin heating?

Control box sits behind the thick plastic of the stock bumper. No real additional blockage of air flow. I monitor trans and water temp religiously (w/scangauge), no temp rise.
