can you change your Online ID for a PS3?

Like the title says how do I change my online ID? I let my little cousin set my PS3 up for internet use and I don't know what the hell happened but I would like my name to be something other than a bunch of numbers. Is there a way to do this? As you can tell I am new to online game systems so if there is a way please be descriptive. Thanks.

 

no way to change it currently. only option is to create a new account.

 

How do I go about creating a new account? My current ID is Z123104 and I really don't want it lol.

i cant look on my PS3 right now, but i think it's in the "users" section on the main menu (furthest to left) there should be an icon. should be able to "create new user" if not there...check in PSN account management (third from right icon, i think).

I use my name on here. Just easier for me to remember. I really don't know what I will need it for to tell you the truth. Maybe one day I'll play an online game. Since my surgery I have beaten a few games just never hooked up to the net.
