    Hey y’all,

I really like the look of the Prinsu Topracs, and was wondering if I could get one to work on my ‘02’s topper. My topper doesn’t have rails yet so I have a blank slate to start with. Any recommendations/ideas?

They make a version with 44" crossbars for 1st gens, you just need to talk to them first. Probably easiest to order over the phone.

I have been looking at the same thing. Looks like you can install the T slot rails across the top of the campershell and then the prinsu rack will easily slide in to the slots. Real challenge is how to get it on the top of the cab as well.

That’s super helpful I’ll definitely get in contact with them.

Yeah I was thinking about the cab rack as well but decided that that will be an endeavor for a later date!

What did you use to attach the rails? I have heard the sheet metal on the roof is too thin to use rivets. Is that accurate? I would love to replicate this!

Looks freaking awesome man, I like that one yellow spoke on the wheel. Yours might be one of best looking tacos I've ever seen:cool:

I used rivnuts, but be careful, there is an unseen seam that you have to avoid when drilling the holes for them.

Cool. Do you have a build thread anywhere? I would like to see how you got it to this. It’s sweet!

What size tires and wheels are you running? I’m looking to get my tires to sit out wider like yours.

There aren't many 1st gens with prinsu's mainly due to the 10 holes, but mine has been leak free for a several months and I like it a lot... And I don't even have an Instagram account!
