Just did my first MOD on my Tacoma, Which was 4" lift with P285/70R-17 117T Open Range and 17" -18 Off set Black Rhino Wheels. I'm rubbing on the corner fender and a little on the frame. I came here to see if someone can tell me the best way to fix this i don't want to cut unless i really have to maybe spacer would work better for me?

From what I've read and personal experience, the only 33" that fits is a 255/85/16. The 285 width usually requires cutting.

BTW, the height of your lift only helps rubbing on regular roads. Off road the lift does nothing for fitting a larger tire when you stuff the tire all the way up in the wheel well.

For you, 285 width 33 will often require a CMC (cab mount chop). Get your angle grinder and welder out. Have your alignment shop give you 1 to 2 degress of caster for your lift which will push the tire forward, and start cutting.

Oh, and don't blame Les Schwab, they most likely aligned it to factory spec, which is 0 degrees camber, which sets the tire pretty far back.

A spacer will make it rub worse. Only way to fix is cut and trim.

I’d blame LS. All that work done with alignment and they didn’t even road test the vehicle afterward?? HA

If he has stock uca's there is no way to get the caster above 3 to move the wheel forward

When I put on my 33's and had it aligned they made me sign a disclaimer saying it would rub and if it did, it was not their fault. Tech was cool and did his best and it only rubbed on the mudflaps, which I removed. This was Firestone. You have to realize, it's not their job to custom align vehicles. If you want a custom alignment to fit tires that most likely need cutting of the wheel well, then you need to take it to a 4wd shop.

I blame thinking a 4" lift cures all.

Pretty sure the gap is normal.
Have them adjust the caster to about 4 and see how the handles. Toe and camber still as close to 0 as they can.
