BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
You should be selling Daddywaggon T shirts and duffle bags

Haha! Yeah! Maybe next year! I really need to clean it up. I told someone admiring the car at a show that, “If it looks like I put it together in my driveway, it’s because I did. The car needs finishing.”

Once I solve the Brembo fitment issues I can transfer the cobra brakes to the Mommy-mobile!

I glanced over it but it looks fantastic and I would love for my wagon to be that clean. That is what’s lacking... refinement. It’s on the list, but right now I can’t afford. Especially because I want a T56 magnum transmission. The white wheels on that wagon are also on my list for the Daddywagon. I am gonna have my wheels powder coated. I also have a set of 17x9 cobra r’s that I am gonna have chrome stripped and painted. So much “want” and not enough money!

Thank you for the compliment. While the brake install is waiting for spacers, I have decided to take the Daddywagon on a shore vacation! Wish me luck! Haha! It isn’t like I haven’t driven this car long distances. As a matter of fact, for what it is, the Daddywagon is well travelled. Commutes to work are 60 miles round trip. Cars and Coffee Lehigh Valley is 60 miles away. Recently Ford Nationals in Carlisle, Pa. approximately 140 miles away. With that being said of course I will do my due diligence and look the car over.

Shore vacation mission accomplished! It was hot! On the way to the shore it was hot! On the way back it was even hotter! The Daddywagon has prevailed... so far! I figure ambient temps in the 90’s mean little to the internal combustion engine provided the cooling system is intact and functioning properly. I beat the piss out of the Daddywagon! I took on everybody who wanted some! This is a highway cruising machine! Light to light you’ve probably got me beat! But the wagon is top end pulling like nobody’s business! So much fun! I have to step up my video game. That YI 4k cam is just not doing it! I think mainstream go-pro is in my future.

I know. But not only does it reach those speeds...
It needs a cosmetic restoration. I may try to do the work myself.

The Daddywagon left me stranded on the way to work! Not sure exactly what the problem is. Leaning towards fuel pump. I got it on the tow dolly and then it started. Frustrating. Old 80’s fuel injection. Return system with an in-tank pump. Initial key-on and the pump primes for a couple of seconds. Once running the pump will stay on! Well I cycled the key a couple times and tried to squirt fuel from the schrader valve on the fuel line, and got nothing. So I am assuming fuel pump.

Well... it started right up once I had it strapped onto that tow dolly. I actually drove it off the dolly and into my driveway. Maybe the pump is just starting to fail or I have something else going on. It was a bear putting the car on the dolly all by myself. I basically had to set the car up on jack stands and back the dolly under it with my truck.

Tell me about it. I did some reading and decided maybe TFI module. Replaced it and it started and ran for about 10 minutes. I feel like my initial diagnosis of fuel pump may be correct. I’m gonna have to further investigate.

NO GO! The 3/4 spacer did not do the trick! Looks like the steelies are going bye bye! I tried. I have offset stagger cobra r’s that need paint or powder so I am gonna bolt those on and see what happens!

Ok! I tried ! I am gonna have to go with the cobra “R” 17x9’s! I have different offsets front to back to accommodate brembo calipers! 17 x 9 all the way around!

These are the rims. The chrome is peeling badly. So I have to strip them down to bare metal and then paint or powder. Also with the wider wheels I am gonna have to roll the wheel well openings.
