    Are these bolts supposed to be bent like this? :facepalm:. This is the second set of camper shell mounting bolts I’ve bent. Maybe it’s the four wheel drive roads with kayaks on the roof rack?


    Traded my simple bolt into the bed channels for these bad boys. I may just add grade 8 hardware to the original mounts and have them all holding the camper shell on together.

    It just had me laughing after the comments about cabin air filters being gross and the other guy talking about how he doesn't use his AC because he doesn't want to burn it out in the first vehicle he's had with it....figured this offered a solution and also played into the snorkel love on this site!

    Picked up a few containers of PP 5W-30 at Wally World. $22/5qt container. My push mower and snowblower both call for 5W-30 and both use 16oz. I use the PP in those and have that 1/2qt remaining for the Taco oil/filter changes.

    Spacers are not all that bad if you stay Hub and Lug Centric. As long as you are Hub and Lug Centric, my Engineering opinion is that its not much different than running a wheel with a offset. In both scenarios you are just pushing weight farther out. Which is going to wear components faster. Happy Friday bud!

    like @Pointeman said, I bet your valve cover gasket is leaking. They are pretty easy to replace. Basically take it apart and put it back together. I believe the only specialty tool you will need is a torque wrench. And the tightening sequence. Please someone correct me if I am wrong.

    Totally needs a second intake on the other side!! hahahahaha :)
