1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Well I thought about it some last night, and I think @Speedytech7 convinced me to go see if that manual IS300 still has its steering wheel for grabs. Saw pics, looks like the airbag should be popped, but atleast I can snag the wheel hopefully. Gonna swipe some 4Runner stuff for resale to offset the cost. Says they got 5 on the lot, 3 that I havent picked through already.

Running a 24F here. Seems like the plastic tray is undersized. I wonder if a 4Runner tray is 24 sized?

Well shit, truck won't start. I got zero power at the dash. I got nothing what so ever. I think it's a fuse but not sure which one.

i have a gremlin, hopefully its nothing more than a stupid heat shield loose somewhere that only vibrates at certain engine speeds

 

I had that to then it fell off and then it fixed itself

that far back would not cause me to have vibrations under my feet at very high speeds, at least I don't think so
or a rattle that sounds like its coming from behind the passenger glovebox

 

I've been going through my 80 series Cruiser, cleaning it up and stuff and damn I know it gets old that I say it but I really wish we got premium Toyota pickups like Hilux, since we get the premium Toyota suv's (Cruiser, 4runner)
I guarantee the new hiluxes over last couple decades didn't have rusting frames. Being American market has pros and cons
