Well... it was a fuse! The fuse to the ECU blew. That’s one I didn’t check. Smdh. Dude was about to put a new ECU in it when he thought to check the fuse. It was a 10amp fuse. I didn’t check any of the 10amps.

Damn, thought they were more reasonable than that. Don't take them all the way out, just loosen them; I'm pretty sure they're direct to frame with a captive nut on the other side. I can go take a peek when I'm off shift though. It's been a while since I moved mine around.

Just got my parts (following; https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/rear-diff-vent-behind-the-tail-light-mod.286097/ guide) in yesterday and i plan to install it either today or tomorrow depending if the weather holds up well enough. Did a trail with a few guys a couple of weeks ago and I was a bit iffy since there was a 2 flooded bits that we had to cross through, short crossings, but the diff was submerged.

A little off topic, but I am getting my truck serviced at Santa Maria Toyota in California and they have a 2019 black and a white pro without a markup. Probably won’t deal. 70965F24-1730-4E4E-9016-68A911A1D519.jpg

Finally ditched the chrome lug nuts for black ones. Last remaining exterior chrome is the tailpipe. Kind of tricky painting over chrome but that will be my next project. Only remaining interior chrome is the Toyota emblem on the steering wheel and the door handles. Hoping to be chrome free soon.37BDA021-0151-4464-919E-ABCB0437A99E.jpg

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
    How 'bout some "black chrome"?

Duplicolor makes some "anodizing paint" that's really easy to work with, is good to 500degF, and they've got a "Smoke" color. I tried their red color on a piece of "faux chrome", came out great, and plan on using it on all the interior chrome (except the door handles, paint probably wouldn't hold up there).
