Done with trimming. Got some holes waiting on putty to dry, sand, lay the primer, THEN the fun should start! Want to put some dents, but afraid I’m gonna eff it up. :anonymous:

i have a decent heat gun you can use if you think that may help with the dents.

I also have a variety of widths of masking tape if you want to use any of them.

She’s trimmed, puttied, sanded, primed, sand, and then a wet sand. Gonna start laying white when I get home.

About 10g over the gun metal Spawn body, and 60g over the light grey, back chopped spawn body. I think it’ll be fine. Hoping it’s tight fit is sufficient enough to keep body in place without using any Velcro, magnets, or body clips!

Headed back to Shaw’s tonight for crawler comp and racing tomorrow, so we’ll see if I notice it acting differently.

We already know he's gonna win. The scale points he racks up for the hard body alone will help out. Throw all the scale accessories on it as you can and no one will have a chance. Make it look like the Beverly Hillbillies

@Suprajim54 and I hit up Lake Minerals Wells state park today, from my house it took about an hr and we drove through Weatherford Peach Fest traffic. 7 bucks/person to get in, we hit one known crawl spot and ran out my batteries.

The initial trail is a steep winding rock staircase, once at the bottom you see dirt with some buried rock and tree roots. A little deeper and you encounter a ton of rock piles. Its a link buster, need some clearance out there, jims portals proved advantageous, the bottom of my rig took a beating. Lots of tree coverage for shade, lots of space and trail that we havent even explored yet. As its a rock climbing and hiking trail, there was a lot of foot traffic and at times, an audience.

Its a pretty cool park with primitive camping available, I can see doing a weekend trip out there, scale wheeling and camping. Cool spot.
