    Thanks. Been working on it a lot. Goal is this "winter" to have it survive. Previous owners didn't do crap with it beyond mowing it seems.

    Due to my shoulder surgery, I hired Emerald Lawns for the year to apply fertilizer and weed killer. I kinda wish it hadn't rained so much this year, so I could tell the effects of their service, as the yard looks frekin' great!

    right?! the rain has been awesome. Even my neighbors yards look good... the real test will be this winter and next spring.

    I definitely have an inner old man when it comes to my yard. Wife has her plants. I do the lawn ;)
