    I have zero cards in this game but as a resident of Calgary my recomendations are :
    -In Calgary, Go to Sports Rent and rent a raft to float the Bow river, it goes right through our downtown. Start in bowness park and end at Harvey passage BEFORE the rapids (well marked). About a 3 hour tour
    -for a more local experience, Canmore is less touristy than Banff and there is a gravel road loop that takes you up to Spray lakes and back through Kananaskis country. K country is classic Alberta mountain scene, rugged and wild. There is also amazing camping in Kcountry that can be reserved. Road closes in fall until spring but not sure on exact dates.
    -McLean creek OHV area is free camping 1km off main road, lots of marked truck trail there too. People may warn you about this place but I love it.
    -if in Banff, Johnsons canyon hike is a must. Easy enough for anyone, about a 2.5 hour walk if you smell the flowers.
    -hwy 93 Icefields parkway is jaw dropping. I do it once a year and it never disappoints. Many many stops on the way.

    Anyways, just my travel Alberta must see’s, love this province and am proud to call it home.

    I have done this trip but from central Cali. I think that the Stewart-Cassiar highway was the best part of the trip. Western BC was so great that we hit the arctic ocean and turned around and went back there for the remainder of our trip rather than spend any more time up north. Your current plan while direct is just highways with motorhomes and semitrucks for days.

    there is no plan or route as of yet, we do have TCAT maps that use gravel roads all across Canada, so that can be used.

    But you are always welcome to share routes, spots to camp etc if you wish and we would really appreciate that! :canada:
