You need a fumoto valve. Crushers are over rated.

They can only crush so much, and eventually you'll get a slow leak. But the idea that you should change out the crush washer after every oil change is probably excessive.

Since this thread involves Walmart - the Walmarts in Northern NJ are setup to assume and treat the customers like criminals with use of blatant Big Brother camera surveillance as they enter the store, while they are shopping, during the self-checkout process, and upon leaving the store when the contents of the bag are checked (btw, I refuse being accosted by the blue-pinny workers once the store's property becomes my personal property).

Do folks from other parts of the country have this 'upgraded' Walmart experience yet?

A buck or less is pittance to pay for peace of mind IMHO. A new crush washer is a good measure to stop torquing and avoid stripping the threads with an oily bolt..

Every business has cameras. Don't go out into public if you don't want to be surveilled.

Sorry. Sarcasm doesn’t translate well on text. Yes, get crushers every time (no sarcasm here).

I buy them from my local dealer for $4.00each. They are much cheaper than anywhere else.

Excessive shrinkage in any store will warrant additional security. Ross stores hired my tottering father to walk around with a SECURITY hat on to reduce theft, lol.

Toyota only added it for the extra revenue they get @ every oil change. Lol. Making bank!
