Sounds like jealousy to me.

Snorkels server their purpose, and it’s not just water crossings like most dumbasses think. Look up @BabyTaco and his story on here, dust, debris, rocks..all pose a threat to where Toyota stupidly routed the intake.

There are lots of large groups of people that are dumbasses. The amount of times I’ve been asked how deep in water I’ve been because that’s all idiots think it’s for.

 

Lol. I’m honestly still thinking about a snorkel. I’m tired of the liners. All I’ve done is just keep cutting more and more off. I’ve torn out the ones in my back end already. Got tired of working around them.

 

They’re great, really. Good piece of mind just driving down the road to me. Like I said go read about Baby Tacos story and his issues, crazy stuff. Yeah they’re ugly and stick off the trucks funny but they are super functional.

 

I have said before and still plan on getting a dorkel once a front bumper goes on. I also made a post at the beginning of this discussion stating that one of the main reasons for them is keeping the dust / dirt out of the filter.



Also. Everything Matt does, useful or not, is for overlander points.
